Do I need a gym?
No. You tell the app which equipment you can reach, and it only prescribes what's possible. At-home mode uses bodyweight and household-object movements that still cover every movement pattern.
What actually happens when the trial ends?
Coach features lock and the app drops back to the free Tracker tier — your logged data stays exactly where it is. If you cancel before day seven you are never charged at all.
Is the yearly plan just a discount?
Yes — same features, billed once. $120 a year against $180 paid monthly, so you save $60 — four months free.
Can I scan barcodes?
Yes, in the iPhone app. Scanning reads the barcode on the packet and pulls the macros from an open food database, so the numbers come off the printed label rather than an estimate. Check the serving size against the packet before you save it — the database is community-maintained and occasionally lists a different serving than the one you’re holding. If a product isn’t in there, type it in once and it’s saved to your own foods from then on.
Does it work on my phone?
Coach Virtuoso runs in the browser and is built for a phone screen first. On iPhone, use Share → Add to Home Screen and it opens full-screen with its own icon, like an installed app.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Email the address below and we'll send an export, or delete your account entirely. Details are on the Privacy page.
Is this medical or nutrition advice?
No. Coach Virtuoso is a tracking tool. Targets and programs are generated from what you enter using standard formulas and general training guidelines — it can't diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and it isn't a substitute for a doctor or a registered dietitian.
